Why Choose Faith Academy Elementary?

The elementary years—from kindergarten through fifth grade—are some of the most foundational years in a child’s life. During these years, children are developing not only academically, but also spiritually, socially, emotionally, and relationally. We are deeply honored to partner with you during this important season of growth.

At Faith Academy Bellville, we believe that our first calling is to disciple children as they grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and become more like Him. Before we focus on what a child knows, we care deeply about who that child is becoming. Our teachers strive to model Christ, teach biblical truth, encourage godly character, and help students understand that every area of life and learning can be lived for the glory of God.

Isaiah 54:13 says, “All your children shall be taught by the LORD, and great shall be the peace of your children.” This verse beautifully reflects our desire for every child entrusted to our care. We want our students to grow in knowledge and wisdom while also learning to seek the Lord’s guidance, trust His Word, and recognize His presence in every part of their lives.

Our teachers are here to walk alongside your children as they face the challenges of learning all of their academic subjects. Whether a student is working through a difficult math concept, developing reading skills, exploring science and history, or discovering new gifts and abilities, our teachers are committed to providing encouragement, instruction, patience, and support.

We also believe that meaningful education begins with meaningful relationships. We work closely together as a faculty and staff, and we make it a priority to know our students and our families. We value communication, partnership, and the opportunity to understand each child as a unique individual created by God with purpose and potential.

Our desire is to create a learning environment where God’s light and guidance are at the center of all we do. We pray, teach, encourage, correct, celebrate, and serve with the understanding that our work is ultimately about much more than academics. We are helping lay a foundation for a lifetime of learning, faith, character, and service.

Classroom Instruction

We offer families a Christian atmosphere of loving teachers, with a structured curriculum and enriching opportunities that promote learning and growth both in and out of the classroom.  Our small class sizes promote an environment where students can receive the support they need and also be challenged. In addition, a strong home-to-school connection ensures that teachers and families work together to support the growth of all our students.

Our classroom teachers deliver purposeful teaching that fosters academic excellence, critical thinking, and integrates a biblical worldview. Their teaching practices are developmentally appropriate, focusing on essential concepts and skills to support student growth and understanding. Instructional design by teachers is cognitively complex and requires higher-order thinking.

Biblical Integration

At Faith Academy Bellville, our priority is to ensure Christian principles and the Bible are integrated into our curriculum.  Elementary students attend a weekly chapel service as well as daily Bible classes. Students and their families are encouraged to regularly attend and be involved in the church of their choice.

Enriching Activities

Throughout the year, there are many opportunities for our elementary students to expand their learning beyond the traditional classroom by engaging in learning projects, field trips, science experiments, reading challenges, physical education activities, music, and art.  Some examples of these are:
