Elementary is where we serve Kindergarten through 5th grade students. The foundation of our quality education is a rigorous and relevant curriculum, taught with creativity for eager young minds.
Why Choose Faith Academy Elementary?
We desire to build a personal relationship with your child to learn and grow together. Our small class sizes promote an environment where students can receive the support they need and also be challenged. We offer families a Christian atmosphere of loving teachers, structured curriculum, and enriching opportunities in and out of the classroom to grow.
Experienced classroom teachers provide purposeful teaching that promotes academic excellence, critical thinking, and a biblical worldview. Classroom instruction and tasks are developmentally appropriate and address essential concepts and skills. Instructional design by teachers is cognitively complex and requires higher-order thinking.
Students are encouraged to apply discipline-specific processes as they complete authentic tasks.
In addition, a strong home-to-school connection ensures that teachers and families work together to support the educational growth of all our students.
At Faith Academy of Bellville, our priority is to ensure Christian principles and the Bible are integrated into our curriculum. In addition, elementary students attend chapel weekly and memorize Bible verses.
Throughout the year, there are many opportunities for our elementary students to expand their learning beyond the traditional classroom by engaging in learning projects, field trips, science experiments, reading challenges, physical education activities, music and art. Some examples of these are:
- Accelerated Reading Challenge
- ACSI Art Festival Contest
- Book Parade
- Christmas Musical
- 100 Days of School
- Donuts with Dad
- Field Trips to offsite educational locations
