Football

Football at Faith Academy is a team sport where all is done for the Glory of God. Football is offered in junior high as well as high school. Playing football provides numerous types of advantages, such as increased aerobic and anaerobic fitness, team-building skills, and improved fitness skills such as speed, agility and power. According to USA Football, players may lose body fat, gain lean muscle and increase the likelihood of maintaining healthy habits throughout life.

“Football is like life. It requires perseverance, self-denial, hard work, sacrifice, dedication, and respect for authority.” – Vince Lombardi

Volleyball

Volleyball is a fun, action-packed team sport that requires a lot of skill and athleticism. In order to be successful at the game, players need to practice consistently and make sure they are in great shape. The girls who make up our volleyball team at Faith Academy are dedicated to their sport. In addition to their willingness to work hard each day, our girls play volleyball for the glory of God.

High school volleyball at Faith Academy is practiced and played at the varsity level, and mentored by coaches who truly love the sport. The girls work together through wins and learn together through losses. Each season is proof of their dedication to their team.

“Success in volleyball is a reflection of the relentless spirit of the team."

Cross Country

Cross Country is a running event in which runners compete to complete a course over open or rough terrain. The courses used at these events may include grass, mud, woodlands, hills, flat ground and water. The runners at Faith Academy push themselves to strive for excellence at every opportunity. The endurance it takes to compete at this level comes only after countless hours of conditioning to be prepared.

"There is something magical about running; after a certain distance, it transcends the body. Then a bit further, it transcends the mind. A bit further yet, and what you have before you, laid bare, is the soul." - Kristin Armstrong
