ATHLETICS
Faith Academy seeks to
develop the whole child. The objectives for the physical development of its
students are to promote health, fitness, coordination, and skillful use of
the body; and to encourage good sportsmanship and a Christian testimony in
all athletic endeavors.
Faith Academy
offers physical education classes for all of its students. In addition, as
student enrollment allows, Junior High and High School students are offered
FOOTBALL, VOLLEYBALL, CHEERLEADING, BASKETBALL, TRACK, BASEBALL, and
SOFTBALL.
Faith Academy is
associated with the Texas Association of Private & Parochial Schools (TAPPS).
Faith Academy athletics are supported and funded entirely by the Booster
Club. As the athletic department grows, more funds are needed to insure a
safe and excellent program. These fees will be used to offset the costs of
annual fees due to the Texas Association of Private & Parochial Schools (TAPPS),
referee charges, tournament fees and travel expenses. Fees will be charged
for athletic participation as follows:
